Salary: $104,650 - 189,175 per year Requirements:
- Requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Hold an active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (e.g., Security+).
- Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, SATX DISA facility, or Ogden, UT for onsite/offsite hybrid support.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4-8 years of professional experience; or 2-6 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure.
- At least 2 years of experience with APIs, JSON, and Python.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership.
- Ability to develop and present management-level briefings.
- Demonstrate potential and willingness to learn and adapt to rapid changes in technology.
- Open to receiving mentoring from senior developers.
Responsibilities: - Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow’s ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules.
- Assist with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON files, and Python scripts.
- Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups, and Roles.
- Create, maintain, and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.
- Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (e.g., Elastic, Netcool, Kafka).
- Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades.
- Assist with the design, creation, and cataloging of business process flows.
- Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies.
- Perform necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs.
- Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into ServiceNow.
- Identify trends and patterns in customer data to enhance customer experience and improve network performance.
- Interact with customers to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated issues or conflicts.
- Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Orchestrate and automate tasks.
- Design and build ServiceNow applications and integrations, adhering to best practices in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Provide ongoing development and project oversight, collaborating with team members.
- Maintain documentation best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input for ongoing ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support.
- Review and integrate UI/UX requirements from external and internal teams into ServiceNow development.
- Utilize available programming methodologies and languages while adhering to coding standards, procedures, and techniques, contributing to technical code documentation.
- Support data migration as needed.
- Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified CMDB, maintaining data quality and integrity.
- Demonstrate a willingness to grow and enhance skills from senior developers throughout each project.

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer for our Digital Modernization Sector, supporting the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. This role involves the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
