Job Description

Linda's Bakery in West Salem, WI is looking for a full-time night shift baker to join our growing team. Come be a part of a family-owned business with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are located on 190 E City Hwy 16 in West Salem, WI. Our ideal candidates are reliable and motivated. Join a team baking the best bread and sweet goods in the area for our retail shop and wholesale customers.

Hours for this shift are 7pm - 3am each night. Full time shifts are 5 of 7 days per week including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring devices to weigh and scale ingredients, doughs, and batters
• Prepare doughs and batters for various products according to recipes
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
• Monitor the quality of products throughout the baking process.
• Efficiently accomplish repetitious tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Willingness to proficiently learn to use all tools necessary to each job function
• Work with and read recipes and instructions

Qualifications

• We will train any candidate who can accomplish the responsibilities.
• Familiarity with food safety best practices is preferred
• Hand dexterity is required to perform many job functions
• Ability to perform simple mathematical functions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
