We are looking for a Data & Professional Services Specialist to assist our Implementation Team in the migration of our client's data. This person needs to have the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and handle large amounts of sensitive client information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs, goals and requirements for successful onboarding.
• Work with customers to tailor the Canopy Tax software to their specific business processes. 
• Manage multiple projects ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
• Work extensively with Excel.
• Clean, combine when necessary, and import client data for into online platform
• Learn and use Canopy tools to run and manage client migrations 
• Work closely with customers to tailor the Canopy Tax software to their specific workflows and business processes.
• Provide recommendations and best practices for optimizing software usage and efficiency.
• Create and deliver training materials, documentation, and resources for customer reference.
• Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve technical challenges.
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their evolving needs.
• Proactively identify opportunities to provide value and address potential concerns.

Skills you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in customer facing role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving customer needs.
• Empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude in assisting customers.
• Strong understanding of accounting or financial workflows and practices is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to an evolving process
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate data
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage work remotely

Interviewing @ Canopy:

We know application processes can be a little stressful. Here are the stages of a typical interview process at Canopy:

• Once your application is received, we will review it and get back to you if we feel like it's a mutual fit! 
• 20 minute phone call with the People Team
• 45-60 minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager
• 1-3 rounds of interviews depending on the role
• Final Interview

Interview processes can vary depending on the role. The People Team will give you a role specific overview of the process during your first phone call. 

Remember: This is your interview too! We know candidates are evaluating us just as much as we are them. We encourage you to bring questions to each of your interviews—our hiring teams will always make sure to save time for questions at the end!
